Lady Barbara Judge, a trained commercial lawyer with both British and American citizenship, has an unusually broad and successful international career as a senior executive, chairman and non-executive director in both the private and public sectors.

She received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and Juris Doctor with honors from New York University Law School and was a partner in a major US law firm specializing in corporate and financial transactions.

In 1980 Lady Judge was appointed by the President as the youngest-ever Commissioner of the US Securities and Exchange Commission and initiated regulatory reforms to open the US capital markets.

She moved to Hong Kong in 1983 as the first woman main board executive director of a London merchant bank, Samuel Montagu & Co and News International.

She is currently the first woman National Chairman of the UK Institute of Directors. She is also a member of the UAE Advisory Board for the Development of Peaceful Nuclear Energy and the International Advisory Group (IAG) for Jordan's Nuclear Energy programme, as well as the Strategic Advisory Council of Statoil ASA.

In addition, she is a UK Business Ambassador and Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE).

In 2002 she was appointed as a director of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority and became its Chairman in 2004 and was reappointed in 2007. After completing two terms she was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Tepco Nuclear Reform Committee and Chairman of it Nuclear Safety Task Force.

In 2010 she was awarded Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the Queen's Birthday Honors for services to the nuclear and financial services industries. In 2015 she was awarded the Times Non-Executive Director of the Year for a Public Sector Organisation for her achievements as Chairman of the UK Pension Protection Fund.

He gains higher achievements in the field of nuclear reactor safety while conducting handsome amount work on NK/TH coupling and in reactor core design. His work contained in designing and simulation of reactor technology is well proven and published in highly reputed journals. He modified nuclear codes to be employed in nuclear reactor analysis. His area of research is broadening to radiological protection, nuclear forensics, development of nondestructive facility, probabilistic safety assessment, radiation shielding materials, computational techniques for synthesizes and development of materials. He owned projects on small modular nuclear reactors, material development and on desalination systems. He is in the editorial board of American Association for Science and Technology (AASCT), USA and acts as guest editor in some journals as well. His tenure of experience ranges from Lecturer, Senior Researcher, Assistant Professor, and Visiting Scientist/Professor in reputed institutes and in universities. He has published around 100 international research articles with accumulative impact factor of 110. He authored three books on nuclear technology and some book chapters as well. He delivered number of talks on international scientific platform and has been honored of being as guest/invited speaker.

He is also a Board member of Eurotunnel and Chairman of AFC Energy. As an MP he was a former Shadow Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, Chair of the House of Commons Environmental Audit Select Committee from 2005-2010 and then Chair of the Energy and Climate Change Select Committee from 2010-2015.

Tim founded NNWE at the end of 2014 to help ensure nuclear power is recognised as an important and desirable way for European governments to provide affordable, secure, low carbon energy and help to meet the long-term energy needs of their citizens. He is also a considerable champion of renewable power believing that nuclear and renewables are an effective energy mix. Tim regularly speaks at energy events and last year attended COP in Paris last year. He is also active in the media and blogs regularly on nuclear issues at www.newnuclearwatch.eu.
